Danceography studio's mission is to offer dynamic specialized classes focused on oneself and others in a positive setting. To teach individuals how to dance correctly as well as learn how to enjoy dancing. Using the body as a means of expression, members will improve on different developmental areas of their lives. Individuals can always work to improve and advance themselves with dedication.

Creative Movement
Where all our dreams begin
3-5 years old
Focuses on core elements of dance; spatial relationships, body parts, shapes and timing. Students are able to incorporate natural creativity and imagination with structure and discipline. Teaches students classroom etiquette, social skills, gross and fine motor movements. It is very important to not demand more from them than they can physically and mentally handle.
Ballet
leaping into the love of dance
Emphasis on terminology, flexibility, coordination, correct body alignment, musicality strengthening of legs, feet, arms and back. This class focuses on self-discipline, posture, a controlled body, strength, stamina, poise and an appreciation of ballet as an art. Dancers will learn expression and grace through movement and build a love and appreciation of dance.
Jazz
Bring on the sass
Students will train precise across the floor footwork and combinations, body position training, technique of jazz walks, pa de bourres, turns, leaps, extensions, etc. Practice sharp quick movements, spotting for turns, center control, pointing the feet, strengthening major muscles of the body, flexibility, confidence and energy.
Hip hop
Get Up & Move
Students get down and groovy to the upbeat, funky (kid-friendly) music. This class usually moves at a fast pace which teaches students to really pay attention and follow directions. Traditional styles are practiced in warm up and combinations using breaking, locking, popping and freestlye.
Tap
Making music with our feet
Dancers learn traditional and contemporary combinations and terminology by using their feet as musical instruments. Activities develop concentration, rhythm, timing, coordination and love for music.
